115: my neighbors are...
decent.
the upstairs neighbors are a bit clunky but mostly quiet. thank God they are much quieter than the previous neighbors.
the previous neighbors had a little boy who needed to be tied to a chair. he would run the length of the apartment, pausing long enough to tie bricks to his feet, climb a piece of furniture, then jump to the floor. what a nifty trick for one so small. several times a day i thought our kitchen cabinets would fall to the floor in protest.
they moved out less than a month after we moved in. amen.
we never hear the young lady next door but we see her sometimes. she's nice, seems quiet. she says hello and smiles when we see her. the people across the hall share part of a wall with us but we never hear them either. we see them less than we see our next door neighbor.
the people downstairs are friendly. we only hear them when they come outside on their patio. they have a little girl who is several years younger than our daughter. their little one is tiny, delicate, pretty. she loves to play bubbles with my daughter. she comes out and calls to my daughter in a cute sing-song voice. my daughter blows bubbles down to her and our wee neighbor laughs as she runs across the green grass to catch them.
they have invited us to dinner a few times but we haven't been down yet. my hubby usually gets home too late. :-(
i am grateful for good neighbors. "-)
p.s. if you're nosey (like me) you can giddyup to the CrazyHipBlogMamas carnival and see what kinda neighbors other folk have.
some prolly need your prayers so hurry up!
