I talked with my dad about an hour ago.

It was a short conversation, maybe 15 minutes. He was in good spirits.

But as the conversation wound down, he mentioned his health issues and told me not to be upset if I get a call that he's not doing well.

He also said he wants to be cremated, no funeral, no memorial service.

I guess he's tired. I would be too, in his situation.

We'll be taking another road trip soon.
